The reports are supposed to be confidential, but with all the people who handle them, word can easily get out. Usually MS are told so they know who can get the "privileges" of handing around the mics, be attendants, work behind literature and mag counters. And of course, all elders wives know more about what's going on in the cong than their husbands.

Do you know how many Kingdom Halls are in the USA?
by asilentone injust wondering, if you do not know the answer, you can call brooklyn bethel to get that answer if you want to, i just do not have the guts to call them..

Hopefully a steadily dwindling number. If dubs are jumping ship as much as reported, the number of halls will have to decrease also.

Bad things? I can only assume you are referring to the natural attraction to the opposite sex that god instilled in not just man, but every living thing. These "bad" things are important to developing your humanity and is used against you to guilt and frustrate you, and look to the WBTS for forgiveness from natural attractions. These "bad"things are actually wonderful things when you take off your watchtower glasses off and see how things really are.
It is good that you are trying to get your girl out, but at some point you will not be able to keep going to the meetings and keep your sanity. At least I couldn't.
I wish the best for you.

My sisters partner died last night
by wobble inmy sister has pioneered since shortly after she left school in the mid-sixties.
she has had the same pioneer partner ,and shared a house with her,for over thirty years.. last night her long time friend died.
she had not enjoyed the best of health in recent years, but at 59, this is a devastating shock to my sister.. the problem is i don't really know what to say to her, she knows i don't believe the wt's view on life after death, so i suppose i shall just have to provide a listening ear.

Just try to be there for her emotionally, even though some distance seperates the two of you. Let her know that you are there for support anytime.

So I did it - almost!
by wantstoleave intoday, i'm not quite sure how it started, but i voiced my concerns about the religion i've been brought up in since i was 3. my dad went straight on the offensive, though kept nice and polite.
i told them that someone can not be df for accepting a transfusion.
not sure why i started with that example, but nevertheless... dad said 'since when' and started pumping me for information, when, where, what...you get the picture and biggest one of all 'how do you know this'.

Don't let hurting your parents, or anyone else guilt you into staying in. My mother gave me the old"I've lost both of my children." We are still here if she could see past a publishing company that she lets control her life. At least your mother, for now, seems reasonable.
You know what it is like growing up in that cult, don't make your children go through the same thing, make the same painful decisions you are now making. I would recomend not letting your father, or anyone else study with them. Install in them your values, without the restrictions of who to talk to, who to associate with, what to read, what not to read, ect.
You have some big decisions ahead, I encourage you to make them carefully.

Jeff, I am sorry to hear about your situation. You have to know that you did your all for this girl and no fault lies with you or your wife. You show your loving and giving spirit in all that you did for your daughter, and her children. Unfortunately some make bad decisions and refuse to return the love and affection given them.
I can relate to your pain, I had a step son who is still in jail for drug charges and other crimes to support his habits. It is natural to blame yourself and feel responsible for your children's faults, but you know deep down that you and your family are not the reason that she took the actions that she did.
I wish you all the best with your family situation, sometimes the heavy shit comes down only on those strong enough to endure it. I think you are one of those people.

I drink Molson Ice or molsenXX, very good and smooth. For cookouts and ball games, got to have Miller Lite, strong enough, but you can drink it all day and not make a fool of yourself. My girlfriend likes Bud Light, no, not a bama fan, just bad taste in beer.
